Top 5 Achievements in 2023-2024

1. Convened 100+ international educators in Pittsburgh for the PACIE 2023 Conference, Building Bridges for Global Learning, highlighting the creativity, commitment, and partnerships necessary to advance global learning throughout the Commonwealth.

2. Hosted 4 webinars and more than 5 networking events, in partnership with PACIE sponsors.

3. Reintroduced a PACIE Spring Board Retreat, including a guest lecture on institutional initiatives regarding sustainability as PACIE reaffirms its commitment to sustainability.

4. Expanded upon and built relationships with key stakeholders, such as the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Study Pennsylvania, the US Commercial Service, NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and the Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association, as we advance global education together. Visited Harrisburg to meet with representatives from the Departments of Education and Community and Economic Development, as well as the US Commercial Service.

5. Approved 2024-2030 Strategic Plan to solidify PACIE’s objectives and chart its action steps, and updated PACIE mission to reflect who we serve.
